SULPHITATION TANK
The device is used to preserve, for example apple cubes, by saturating them with a solution and inhibit the processes causing their darkening. The machine is part of a line, e.g. for apples, located directly after the slicer. Depending on the used substrate, a concentration meter can be added to the machine.
The efficiency of the machine depends on the technological process (time) that we spend on soaking the product in the solution.
After the sulphitation process is completed, the product is moved by a dripping belt, which removes excess water from the product and facilitates the next process, which is freezing.
The device is very easy to clean thanks to the lifting conveyor belts. For washing the device, it is possible to use a pressure washer without fear of damaging the machine components.
