The water-air washer is a very universal device – it allows you to wash most of the floating fruits and vegetables. Thanks to its versatile use, it can be found in practically every fruit and vegetable processing plant.

The device is used for washing vegetables and fruit with water and air. The air pumped into the lower part of the tank creates a water-air bath, thoroughly washing the product and removing impurities from its surface. Movement is facilitated by the water jet that pushes the product. The process can be controlled smoothly, thanks to which it is possible to slow it down, and thus obtain a more thorough cleaning. You can also speed it up, thus increasing the efficiency of the device.

In some cases, it is advisable to install an immersion mechanism to effectively increase the washing efficiency. This option is very valuable when working with leafy products.

Washing is gentle and does not damage the product.

At the customer’s request, it is possible to install an additional detergent / chemical dosing system in the machine, which will significantly improve its cleaning efficiency.

The water in the machine is constantly filtered, which allows for continuous removal of impurities. The device is very economical in terms of water consumption, thanks to the installed circulation system.

At the end of the machine, there are spray nozzles which additionally rinse the raw material. You can freely modify the operation of the nozzles by selecting spraying with purified and / or fresh water (from the mains). When spraying the products, the water in the washer is replenished and replaced at the same time.

After finishing work, the device can be cleaned with a pressure washer (with particular care put on some elements).

The water-air washer is easy to transport and it can be easily moved with forklifts or pallet trucks (it is possible to order a washer with wheels).
