Unit is used for preparation fruit and vegetables for IQF.It’s main purpose is to remove any excessive water remaining on product following the washing process.
PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The product is fed into the unit and distributed over the slotted sieve steel base. The gaps are 3.00 mm (different gap sizes supplied upon request). Product travels along the sieve at slight angle as the surface is vibrating and loses most of the excessive water. At the end of the unit there is a large ventilator applying pressurized air to the surface of the product reducing the excess of water even further. Product is than directed for further processing. The water recovered in the process is than redirected either to a container or drainage system.
