DRUM BRUSH WASHER
The device is designed for pre-washing or final cleaning of root vegetables such as carrots, parsley, parsnips, potatoes, beetroots, etc.
The vegetables are fed into an inclined hopper, from where they fall into the drum of the device by gravity. They are sprayed with water in the drum, and its rotation causes them to rub against each other and get cleaned thoroughly. The process is additionally supported by brushes installed at half the working length of the drum. Process water is purified on a sieve bend or, optionally, on a slotted sieve bend.
Capacity is up to 4 t/h, depending on the product.
